SFL-2/460 was developed to meet the ever-increasing demands placed on food, pharmaceutical, and beverage processing equipment today. The synthetic base fluid and the aluminum complex soap thickener allows for a wide operating temperature range. LUBRIPLATE SFL-2/460 is ideal for use in systems where a high viscosity, heavy duty H-1 grease is required.
SFL-2/460 may be used on food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing and packaging equipment as a protective anti-rust film, as a release agent on gaskets or seals of tank closures and as a lubricant for machine parts and equipment in locations in which there is potential incidental contact of the lubricated part to food, beverage, pharmaceutical and related packaging equipment. The amount used should be the minimum required to accomplish the desired technical effect on the equipment.
